With Mardi Gras in full swing, parades roll from Uptown
Magazine Street, along St. Charles all the way to Canal Street every night from
the Wednesday to Lundi Gras (the Monday before Mardi Gras) and cumulating with
two parades on Tuesday morning.
One of my favorite parades is called Muses. Rolling on
Thursday night, Muses is a women's krewe and they throw sparkly shoes (watch
your head!) which have become coveted items in New Orleans.
